Walking Safari in Tanzania

Walking gives a special touch to a safari in any country. You find yourself suddenly in the midst of the African Bush, hiking past herds of impala, closely watched by hyena’s. In this itinerary you walk 6 days at a nice pass in a private setting from one campsite to the other. In the end you find yourself watching Lake Victoria with great satisfaction. If you are an active person then this really is a very special and great way to experience the Tanzanian wilderness. The whole tour is fully arranged, so you travel with your own Maasai guides and cook in the area of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an average of 15km per day over mainly flat land. Since this walking safari is on private base, you can determine your own pace en totally enjoy the surroundings. The overnights are in tented camps on various locations. The tents are carried by Maasai mules along the way, and the tents will be put up with assistance from your guide. Off course all meals are included, and will be prepared by your very on private cook!
